Torch Juggling

Three torches flying through the air, catching, throwing, catching again. It is a great spectacle You know it is fantastic to see, but the sound will also astound you!

Juggling torches is a extraordinary challenge, particularly at night. The end you can see is not the end you want to catch. You know I love a challenge and it makes for a good show.

It is big and exciting, but do not worry there will always be proper safety precautions.

Fire Balls

Fireballs are the latest addition to my repertoire, and possibly the craziest. Yes, I juggle flaming balls with my bare hands. The balls are specially made for the purpose, and I have to be quick about it, otherwise there is no trick to it. Unlike torch juggling there are no handles to worry about catching. Applaud quickly, this one does not last too long.

Fire Poi

For night time events I can swing Fire Poi*. This is a very dramatic performance and is best outside or on a large stage. For indoor events I can do light sticks, they are still beautiful, but not as dramatic as fire (see below right).

*Poi is an art form developed in New Zealand by the Maori People. It is basically swinging flaming wicks on chains. Before one is ready for fire a lot of practice is needed with tennis balls on strings.
